    Hhi ,

I have a rather frustarting problem. i have created a credit roll in after effects which is then imported in avid for editing. My problem is that it jitters on air. i have tried Quicktme mov in the following formats:
animation, avid meridien ( compressed and uncompressed) and they all cause some problem or the other. animation format ,jitters some time and at others it dosent.

Can ayone tell me what’s wrong. do i need to have some other codec?

    Rosy.

    1. What size are the letters? Sometimes small text (or text with small details on it) will cause a roll to look jittery.

    2. Do you have the interlace order set correctly in AE and in Avid? If you’ve got it set wrong at any step of the process, it’ll screw everything up.

    good luck,
    Carl

    Hi.

Avid’s rolling titles always jitten on roll., esp on Xpress Pro machines. The best work aroud is to use Boris Grafitti or Marquee (HD)

Wrong (all three times). If you learn to use the tool, you can make rolling titles that look just fine.
