creative suite makes me screen go crazy!
Anyone can help with this weird issue. I use a Mac Pro, with two 27 inch cinema display monitors. OS 10.6.7, 2 x 2.93 Quad Core Intel Xeon, 16 GB 1066 Mhz RAM, two NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 cards.
Whenever I get creative suite apps running (it’s only with CS apps, either CS5 or CS6), things all go great for a while, and then at some point something weird happens… bit’s of the screen just show sections duplicated from elsewhere on the same screen… see here:
One screen (only ever one at a time, but it could be either screen between restarts) goes weird.
When I then drag some application window across the offending screen, this happens:
I drag it around until eventually things look normal Then it happens again (usually a few minutes later).
Does anyone know why this happens?!?! If you need any more info about my system, please let me know!

Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card installed?

I just installed the most recent driver for my OS, so we’ll see if that helps!

Maybe your card is on its last legs. This only happen with PrP?

Well, sometimes it’s one screen, and sometimes the other, so wouldn’t that suggest it’s not the card (each screen is connected to a different card). It only seems to happen when CS apps are open… I’ve not noticed whether or not it is restricted to only when PrPro is open, but it could be.

Looks like you’re running out of RAM space. I’ve seen that on a few systems that run for a long time and have the RAM fill up.
Does it help when you shut down or re-boot the system, clearing out the RAM?
