Creative Suite 2 Slow and Sluggish
I just installed Adobe’s Creative Suite 2 (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design) on my WindowsXP machine (dual 900mhz processors with 1 gig of RAM). I’m finding the applications extremely sluggish. The programs take longer than normal to load and then behave as though I have no memory. There are slight delays when clicking around and performing tasks. It’s difficult to work this way.
I should point out that I installed a new C Drive (after the first one died) and now have Windows XP installed. Perhaps there is something to disable in XP that is hogging resources but my other apps seem to work fine. Thanks for any help!

I updated my Matrox millennium video card and CS2 seems to be redrawing faster now. Apparently, this sluggish performance is pretty common when the video card is not configured properly with updated drivers.
