I am just learning this application after working in FCP7 for several years. I have had the CC for quite a while without using it. I did a software update which replaced an old version. The version I am on is Premiere Pro 2017.0.2. I am working on a tutorial from macprovideo. I am on a chapter for adding text graphics. It calls for me to add a graphic by going to Title>New Title>Based on Template. There are no templates to use. Working through lots of adobe articles, It was recommended to reinstall CS6 and then copy its templates folders into the appropriate folder on Premiere 2017. I can’t find the CS6 version to reinstall. I am on a Mac Pro mid 2010 running 10.12.3.

    Here are my questions:

Has anyone successful installed the templates from CS6?
Did you have to uninstall 2017?
    Are the templates useful?
Any ideas about how to proceed.

    Thanks in advance.
