What program to create lower thirds for live streaming multicam event?

    Hello

I’m directing multi camera live streaming events. I want to add lowerthirds(15of them) in during the event. We have a Panasonic 410 switcher. I know i have to downstream key it… But what I can’t figure out – what software program I can use to create, or just keep track of the lower thirds > play them out of the computer into the switcher. I usually work with wirecast, so don’t need a stand alone program. But now using “new” livestream procaster (ugh! wont work with wirecast).

Can anyone suggest easy, stand alone software for macbook laptop. Pro Presenter ? ANything easier? Again, just want to role in custom lower thirds to our switcher, DSK them..

    any insight greatly appreciated.
    Thxs

I’ve always used Wirecast, and have migrated away from Livestream because of all of the limitations. CasparCG might work for you?

    Maybe ToolsOnAir or BugTV?

A simple solution is to use Keynote with a chromakey green background. Learned this from Alex Lindsay from Pixel Corp. You can build it in FCP/AE with animation then export it as QT and drop it in Keynote(if you can produce it in advance or simply create the template in Keynote and make text changes on the fly using different pages for each graphic/Lower third. Easy and it works with the keyer function of that switcher.
