creating waves
Hey, I’m trying to figure out the easiest way to create a wave effect from a birds eye view, such as a drop of water falling into a pool of water, and the ripples that would result from that drop. I dont really understand “wave world” and I am having a lot of trouble figuring this one out! I know there was a tutorial of how to animate a creative cow logo falling into a pool of water, which created this ripple effect, but I cant find it. Can anyone help me please?!?!

I’ve been working on this tutorial and my wave world just stays grey at 1:03 it isn’t transparent like it looks in the three examples of wave height. I am using AE 6.5. I did try the transparency twirler but that just made it so I couldn’t see the waves.
Any advice?
