    Hi,

I’m trying to create a water effect using a water-map created with fractal noise, fast blur and wave world. It’s look pretty good. There’s only one problem. Caustics adds a sort of diffuse layer over my video (example). How can I solve this?

    Many thanks in advance!

i remember changing the light source type to point, and the ambient light to 0… and, maybe, also the diffuse reflection (in material) to 0 helped to eliminate the ‘haze’.

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the help! Setting the light source to point light did the trick.

    Cheers,
