Creating title problem

OK, I will try to type very fast…

When you drag wirh the window where you type the text, this window will try to tab itself with all the other tabs. To avoid this, you can press the Ctrl button when you drag a window (this was 7 seconds…)

This does not help.. What I am doing is trying to create text and when I click on GENERATED MEDIA the box disappears. Please advise

The Video Event Fx box goes away and i cant not see it. Its like a pop up blocker is stopping it from opening.

Click on view and make sure it’s selected. Can you post a screen shot of what you’re seeing? I can’t picture it in my mind.

Is it moving to the tabs? Or where exactly is it moving to?

It might be that it got placed off screen somewhere. You can try resetting your windows layouts with View | Windows Layouts | Default Layout.

You can also reset all of Vegas by holding the SHIFT key when you launch it. This will reset all of your preferences so this should only be used as a last resort.

I am using the trial version SV plat pro 9.0b. I have used previous versions of Sony Vegas and love the product (have been using since 2002). I was planning to upgrade, but I am struggling with the text generator… I am able to see the “Video Media Generator”, but no where can I “enter” text, “edit” text, “format” text or any manipulation of any kind. Are there utilities that I should be using? Is the trial version limited? (I am using Vista Home, 32 bit). The edit text works fine on my Sony Vegas 4.0. Any thoughts?
