Creating sub-sequence loses render info
Here is a weird problem I have never seen before.
I created a Subsequence from the Create Subsequence icon above the record window. When I looked at the Subsequence it was identical to the original. However when I played it something was wrong.
To give a presenter VO some punch the offline editor had increased the volume of the track by 12dB and then applied a audiosuite compressor effect to bring the audio level back down. These were rendered and worked fine on the original sequence.
On the Subsequence, although all the audiosuite effects were rendered, the renders were not played back, so it sounded as if no compressor effect was applied and it was extremely loud! When I edited the original sequence into the Subsequence the clips were played back with compression correctly.
I seems like there is some metadata fault here, but can anyone spread some light on it and whether it is the same on other software versions?
Using Avid Symphony Nitris DX v.3.5.4 at the BBC in London.
