  creating strobing fields within freeze frame

  Hi all,

  Not sure if this is possible with FCP but can I freeze a video frame but not the fields? The look I’m after is a freeze but with the two fields ‘strobing’ within that freeze. An example can be seen here, 19 secs in (after the ad):

  Have tried a freeze frame with frame blending turned off but with no joy. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
