Creating shapes that highlights certain words in a multiline sentence

January 27, 2023 at 1:30 pmHi
In extension of my earlier post regarding colouring of specific words, I am also looking for a way to have a shape to highlight that same word.
The word is defined by a symbol, and the symbol is hidden in the end output.
Example:
“I need to highlight >this word
and also >this word”
The shape should sit behind and react to “>this”, but without the “>”.
I don’t know if this is even possible, but reading Kalleheikki‘s<b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;”> reading proposed solution, I think that would work for me:

But I am not sure how to do the expressions on the 3 layers, defining which words to keep and which to delete.

Have you seen this thread?

If you wanna select only one word, check this animation preset out (included here)
If you wanna select more than a word, it is possible (if you go read the thread) but it’s heavy on the machine.
