    OK,
    So I tried the tutorial by Emanuel Eriksson for sand that blows text away. It didn’t work. I’m not sure if I was doing something wrong or what, but I was trying to figure out the mechanics of it so I can apply it to a project I’m working on right now. I could really use some help. This could be the difference between staying or going at my new job. So here’s what I need to do;
    I have a solid graphic that will be branded for everything that has to do with a particular series of shows. I want to be able to have it blow on “like sand” and then blow off again, revealing text such as a lower third. I know there is a way to do this, but I just can’t figure it out. Would really appreciate any input.
    Thanks everyone

    What part of it “doesn’t work”? I used this trick a few years ago, and had a skeleton exhaling smoke that blew text away, added a little 3D, and it was DYNAMITE! It did render VERY slowly, especially compared to one of the particle generators listed… of course, I was using a G3 iBook back in the day, and really overdid it on the quality.

    Let me know what you are getting… is it an error, or what happens?

    I have actually been trying to use tr particular and it seems like it may be what I need. As for the tutorial from earlier, I must have been doing something wrong. I will try it again. Thanks for your help guys!
