Creating Powerpoint templates in Photoshop
Posted by Jason Wadsworth on April 6, 2005 at 2:35 amIs there a way to create Powerpoint templates (or even just backgrounds) in Photoshop. I just can’t bring myself to use the cheesy Powerpoint standards anymore.
Thanks

I’m with you there, I hate the PPT backgrounds
Backgrounds are easy for PPT from Photoshop. Create your file at 720 x 540 pixels, RGB color at 72 dpi. Create the background you want and save a copy as a JPEG.
In PPT, go under format to background. Look for the tab across the top labeled picture, then the button “select Picture” find your JPEG and import, hit OK, then either Apply or apply to all (hopefully self explanatory). There you have it, a custom background
Good Luck
