    Hi,
I’m compositing a piece that has a man firing a bullet through a window, the crack is composited, now i’m trying to work a way for small “puff” of debris to come out of the hole, almost dustlike……
any ideas how i could work this…..is this a particle playground thing? any tutorials?
    thanks

the videocopilot.net had a car hit effect with glass shards that shot out and fell on the ground, very convincing, and best of all, no extra plugins. Trapcode particular would work well too.

Particle Illusion has the best presets for this type of look, hands down.
    Fast, easy and convincing stuff.

You will have to dig through the large amount of presets, but thats the
great thing about Pi. So much power under the hood, if you choose to mess with it, and the ease of hundreds of presets to get you close, not to mention realtime rendering for most stuff on a decent computer.
