    Hey guys I have been learning some Avid the past few days and created a 8 frame filler which I thought was like a slug. Although on this Filler I added a glow effect and keyframed it from zero then in the middle 100 then back to zero so it would be a nice little transition. I just add it on a track above the clips in between the edit.

    Is there a way to create your own effects/transisitions like this in FCP. I know you can save Transitions but not sure how. I do use copy/paste attributes if i get a look i desire for once clip.

    Hi,

    You can create your own effect in FCP – using your FX builder right in FCP, however that’s tricky and takes time and skill in code writing.

    The easier way is to customise an effect: make your personal tweaks and art. Then drag your filter / transition from your sequence to your favorites bin.
    Or you can even create a separate project for your effects and save them there. That way they don
