Creating our spinning earth in Red
I need to create what looks like our spinning earth in Red. I’m planning to use the 3D objects to create it, lay in a background, etc. My questions are about mapping on the 3D object and adding any lights. Any thoughts on best approaches with this?

Michael,
For best results, add a 3D Model Container, make a Sphere shape, choose a Earth map JPEG or Tiff, add lights in the Lights tab of the Container Track. It should be a breeze. If you want to spin a text around the earth orb, add another concentric sphere and map alpha text on it.
