  • Creating masks in FCP?

    Hi,

Is it possible to draw custom shaped masks in FCP? For example if I wanted to Roto out an area of a shot.
    Is this possible in FCP?

    Thanks,

    Dom.

    Dom,

There are several multi-point garbage mattes for FCP from a few third parties, but they have their limitations.

The best roto tool for FCP is also the best roto tool period, Silhouette Roto. Works in FCP, AE or as a standalone, just incredible.

    Have a wonderful day.

You should use Motion for this.
