creating light leaks
I want to make a light leak such as you would get from 16mm over video footage and still frames. does anyone have any suggestions?

Just search the forum, we see this inquiry about twice a month. Question also appears in all of the NLE forums regularly.
The best source is ARTBEATS or any of several online stock clip sources. Creating one yourself is way more trouble than it’s worth if you need it to be real.bogiesan
