Hi Guys, just a quick question before I hit the Render button. I’m making my first DVD with Full HD footage. In Vegas 10, my raw footage shows as 1920x1080x12, 29.970 fps.If I want this footage to play at the highest possible resolution from a DVD player, should I be exporting to Main Concept MPEG-2, Template HDV 1080-60i or should I be choosing DVD Architect NTSC video stream. Since I will be Authoring this project in DVD Architect 5.2 will it need to re-render these files? Trying to save myself a little bit of work and time, and still wind up with the highest resolution I can. Thanks in advance, for any and all advice.

P.S. I should add that this was shot with my Sony HDR-PJ10 at 1920x1080x12, 29.970 fps 60p, which is the highest resolution of this camera, if I’m mistaken. If that has any bearing on your answer.

I hit the solution button by accident, so could a Mod please remove it? Or I may never get an answer. I thought the button was to find a solution, not state that it was solved.

For DVD you want to use MainConcept MPEG-2 and then use the NTSC widescreen video stream template. Then export your audio separately using the Dolby Digital AC-3 Pro setting. Name both files the same and when you import the video file into DVDA, the audio should follow automatically. If you have a BluRay burner and are exporting for BluRay then use the BluRay 1920×1080 60i template. Hope this helps.
