Hi I am trying to create a DVD of my sequence but failing miserably. 🙁

I compressed my sequence using Compression dvd 90 mins fastest encode. Which gave me an mpeg2, aiff and a dolby ac3 files
I then tried to add the audio and video into DVD Studio projects palette tab but in the add video/audio tab all the above files were greyed out .

Is there a simpler way to create DVD

    Can anyone help.

    Zee.

did you try to import the files as assets?

Yes I did and it worked. 🙂

Then I dragged the audio and the video file into a track, which I can play but when I go to simulator there is nothing to play. Does this mean nothing will be burned onto dvd?

    Thanks

    Zee.

[Zeliha] “but when I go to simulator there is nothing to play.”

That’s because you haven’t connected your track to anything yet, so the simulator won’t work. Just double-click your track and that should activate the viewer window and start playing your movie without using the Simulator mode.

yes exactly. or make the track your ‘first play’ item in your project so that Simulator will go to it as the, you’ve guessed it, ‘first play’ item on your DVD… and a little DVD will appear on the icon in the graphical view.
