Creating DPX files working with AVID Symplhony Nitris
Hi
I am currently onlining a short film from D-5 master tapes, from an EDL of the edit that was done on FCP. I am doing this on a AVID Symphony Nitris suite, I don’t have nuch experience on AVID and its been a while.
The company who are going to do the grade and some Visual FX have asked for a drive with a DPX file of the film. I have done some searching for how to do this and not found much. So my quextion is how do I create an export of a DPX file?

It would be a DPX sequence (a dpx is a still file). Under Export, choose Graphic, and there is the option to export as Cineon (a subset of the DPX standard). And select “Sequential Files”.
