Creating crisp photo frames from footage
Hi there everyone,
We are shooting a short film in the next couple of months which involves the following scenario…
We film a number of shots (A person eating an ice cream for example) which we then turn into frames and developed into photos.
We then film our actor flicking through the photos. Once sped up in the edit the photos will obviously start to animate as in the initial shots.
My question is, what frame rate/shutter speed should I shoot the original footage in order to get the most crisp looking photo’s?
I am also open to other suggestions on how to do this…but ideally I want to go through the process rather than using a composite tool.
I look forward to hearing any advice,
Many thanks,
Paul
