Creating circular dust clould from fight/anime inspired dust cloud
Hello to all,
I am working on a film portfolio to get into CSUN film school. my pictures involve two people sword-fighting, one avenging a fallen friend. What I want to do is when they clash swords, have a small circular impact of dust, as can be seen in anime or manga when two characters punch each other with equal force. Despite googling several different phrases, I’m having a hard time creating what I want. Also needs to look real. Thanks again for your input.

Well Since I already applied i figure i’d tell you how. I used a motion blur tutorial in combination with the stylize —> wind option to give my characters, which were people photographed wit ha sword, the rushing anime look. hope someone can benefit from this!
