We’re in the midst of a large 10 language project. For the DVD output, we will have an English version (and English subs for the native speakers), for the Native language, we’ll have native subtitles for the
English speakers. We’d like to create chapter markers in FCP – Compressor – DVDSP.

No problem in English, apparently, no problem in Arabic but it’s a no go in Burmese. I have the Burmese font installed and it’s working fine as text subtitles in FCP, but when I cut and paste the Burmese text into the chapter marker editor, it reverts to English gibberish.

    Any ideas out there?

    Thanks,

    Dorit

    Thanks in advance,
    Dorit

I believe the Burmese language has to selected in your system in order for the font to be recognized. I’m not exactly sure how to do that.
