  • Creating channel for image for use in MS Word or InDesign

Sorry for my idiocy, but I have forgotten how to edit an image and save it where it can be used in MS Word or InDesign and wrap text around that image.

Example: I have opened a piece of clip art. I want to get rid of all the white around the image, then save that image where it can be opened in MS Word or InDesign and used to create a brochure or otherwise where the text can wrap around it.

I know it has to do with alpha channels and masks, but I have simply forgot.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    David Fisher
