I’ve been hacking through this by saving a CDL out of Resolve and then copy and pasting the meta data and SOP and saturation parameters into a text template I made and saving as a .ccc file. This way our NUKE artists can use them more directly and we can even import them back into Resolve’s Still Store to use on a shot by shot basis.

My question – is there not a way to save a CCC file directly out of Resolve instead of saving a CDL first? If not this would be very cool to do so say out of the Still Store like a .drx file.

Second question – does anyone have a application they use and are happy with that extracts the color data from the CDL and creates CCC files?

    Thanks for any help.

    Cheers, Chris

If you are still looking for a solution to get to ccc files try giving light illusion an e-mail. they recently came up with a solution that converts cdl-edls to ccc files by parsing the cdl and kicking out an individual ccc file for each event. works like a charm.
