  • Creating Blue Ray Disc with Standard Video Content Encore CS6

I have been creating / Authoring Blue Ray discs with Adobe Encore since 2015 using HD video source.

I edit in FCPx and compress with compressor producing H.264 files. In looking at a past project I have successfully completed, I notice that the H.264 files say “Do Not Trancode”

Now, I have produced the same H.264 files , imported them into a project and they say “Untranscoded”. Normally I would not care. My project is for a 50gb disc and I have about 20% free space. However, the build to disc failed because Encore said that there was not enough space. I have two time lines. I was able to burn a disc when I had just one time line and 60% free space.

What am I doing wrong? Is the transcoding process creating a bigger file?

    Thanks for your help
