    Hello,

I am using Adobe Premier Pro 1.5 on Windows XP Pro.

I would like to put BITC onto a dvd I am working on I would like to use the original source timecode on each individual clip.

When I add the timecode effect to the selected clip it does not automatically use the original source timecode – it is 00:00:00:00 –

When I apply the clip and go into the effects control and open up the effect – the option of FORMAT – the drop down menu says not applicable and does not open – ( I am not sure if this would give me the option to use the original source timecode)

Will I have to manually put the timecodes in at the begining of every clip?

Also I do not have the effect of transparent video ( I only adjust the transparency with the opacity effect)(sorry if I am sounding dumb!!)

Thank you to Jon Barrie and Ann Bens, for you much needed help last week.

Thank you kindly for any assistance received – now and always

    NIk 🙂

Hi, i am a little confused because Pro 1.5 does not have the timecode effect. It came with Pro 2 as dit the transparant video. The timecode effect does not relate to the actual timecode of the footage.
You might want to look at dv date, it might do what you are looking for. I have never used it.
