  • Creating an outline for scrolling text

So in FCP, the options for creating text, as far as I know are: Text, Scrolling Text and Outline Text… Does anyone know how to create Outline Scrolling Text? Can you do it with the Boris plug-in or get some plug-in like Joe’s Filters to accomplish this?

    Many thanks,
    Samah

Use Boris’ Title Crawl. In Controls set the animation type to roll.

    All the best,

Thanks Tom. But can I also create an outline for the text as well?

Yes. The Boris text tools allow up to five outlines and five drop shadows on any text.
