  Creating an EDL for negative matchback

  I”ve created an EDL for a 35mm film matchback from a 24P project in Avid Film Composer (v10.5) for the negative matcher. He’s reported back that in nearly every event the duration of the source timecodes does not match the duration of the program timecodes in the timeline. Here’s one example:

  16 M002_ V C 02:37:34:00 02:37:36:20 01:01:07:06 01:01:09:22

  The duration of the source timecode for the event is 2:20, while the duration of the time line timecodes is 2:16

  I’m wondering if my problem is in the EDL settings, or a larger problem in my project.
