    Hi all,

I’m going to slowly begin the endeavor of creating an animated typeface.

I think I’m going to hand draw the shapes and animate them however I see fit (obviously not too far in development here, hehe).

When I create this typeface, I would like to use expression controllers to change the rate of the animation. It would be great if it could be done uniquely per character as well as globally – that’s where I think it gets a bit challenging (maybe just need a null and no other way around it?).

I’m essentially looking for any and all suggestions on how to do this. I’ve not worked with a lot of animated typefaces, so input on other things I can do to facilitate the creation process as well as make it user friendly would be amazing. I plan on giving it away for free if I can come up with something I think is worth a damn.

    Thanks in advance!

    George
