Is there a way to create a reflection that only applies to a single layer? Example: I’ve created a computer montor that needs to move around in 3d space now I want only the screen (which is an independant layer) to reflect hot spots or lights whenever the monitor moves or rotates. When doing this in a program like combustion I am able to put a layer in front of the “computer screen layer” and then make it invisble to the camera then I can make the “screen” layer reflective. This gives me a constant reflection that interacts in 3d space. Is there a way to do this in After effects? I prefer using AE.
