Greetings. While I continue to experiment with polygon sizes, I’d like to take a minute and just ask what the trick is to make all of the polygons line up on the ball after I apply my sphere effect. I can make the ball easy enough, but it’s really obvious once it starts rotating where the seam is. Thanks.

Here’s a map for the soccer ball that won’t show a seam.

Well, this certainly explains why my pattern was distorting in the middle of the ball! How in the world did you come up with this??

I don’t suppose you also have the patterns for a baseball, basketball, etc? I just posted a thread about making a baseball that I can spin in 3D. I guess the secret is to just have the flat pattern handy. Thanks so much for the picture.
