    Hi,

I have scanned a few hundred 35mm slides and I need to create a ‘slide-show’ in premiere.

I would like to have each ‘still’ on the screen for about 10 seconds.

Is there a way of selecting all or a number of images (jpgs) at the same time and adjusting the time for all, rather than selecting each one individually and having to ‘stretch’ them along the time-line to the appropriate time marker?

    I hope you can help.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Bruce.

    Bruce,

    It is possible.

    1. Edit > Preferences > General
    2. Change the ‘Still Image Duration’ as required.

Aanarov is correct as usual. Be aware that you must change the settings before you import the pictures. If you already have them in the project, just delete them and re-import after changing the settings. The duration is the number of frames long that the picture will show for. So, on a standard 30 frames/sec project, set the duration to 300 to have them hold for 10 seconds.

…then use automate to sequence, adjust the transition, etc…
