    HI!

I have an idea about creating a scene in wich a number of balls would be hanging from the roof in lines. The camera would sweap through the scene and the balls would wave from some sort of wind deformer. Are you with me? Good, I got some questions:

    1) How can I create some kind of wire that is attached from the ball to the ceiling? Preferebly it would be deformable and so on. Can I use cloth in some way?

    2) Best way to create realistic camera movement? Ideal would be to mimic the way a hand-held camera is moving. But that might be terrible hard? right? Any other ways? Doing a spline path and apply some kind of randomness (in that case: how do I apply the randomness?).

    3) Any other tips regarding this scene?

    Any input is very welcome!
    Have a gr8 day

1.) You can make the dynamic rope a couple of ways but i would use hair,
take a spline (loads of points), in hair tags add spline dynamics, then you can se a contraints to conect it to your hanging object. Then as the balls move the hair will follow.

You could also use a IK chain to do the same thing then you could avoid constraints…but then you run into ik… so its fun eitherway.

2.) Put a vibrate tag on your camera for the random movement.

    3) ???

    Later
