    Hello there,

After a few hours spent on the internet I couldn’t find a solution to my problem.

I have a short film that I want to send to a festival in the US but the settings that it has been exported in are for PAL an I would like to create an NTSC DVD. I work with FCP7 and also have Compressor, AE and DVD Studio Pro.

    Please help! 🙂
    Thanks,
    Tanya

There was a post some while ago on this and I’ve put it here.
I too enter stuff into American festivals but only choose the ones that accept PAL submission DVD’s. Can’t be bothered with NTSC .https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/4/865336

Hmmmm…just doing a simple google search on “Pal to NTSC Conversion with Compressor” brought up several tutorials on this. Have you tried some and are having issues?

Lots of folks here use this tool as well:

I wouldn´t advice to use G standart conversion-plugin, as it will blur the picture.

if you use compressor working with frame-control, it´ll will have a lot sharper results.

    cheers
