Creating a name build out of waveforms.
Hello,
I am wanting to create a name build where the name is created from a waveform.
So basically sound waveforms form on the screen and the wave transform into a name.
I would prefer to do this without plug ins but if anyone has an idea that requires plug ins still let me know.

AE allows you to display waveform and you have the Puppet Tool. Combine these two and you may achieve what you want.

That video you posted was made almost entirely with trapcode form. I cannot even imagine any way of doing this without the plugin.
Im sure if you google trapcode forum layer mapping tutorial (or smtg like that) you’ll find a truckload of tutorials, it’s a very popular technique.
