I am trying to create a DVD menu, this is my first time using Adobe Encore. I have a short .mov file that I want to use for the main menu. How can I add buttons to an .mov file? Is that possible? I’m really stuck and I can’t find anything online.

    Thanks!

Best to convert the .mov to .m2v with media manager, and import the .m2v (video) and .ac3 (audio) as an asset. Then in the menu properties under the “Motion” tab, connect the whips to your newly imported assets and it will become the background video for your menu. You can also just drag the assets onto your menu while holdong down a button, but it depends if you’re using mac or pc as to which button to hold.

    Hope this helps.
