    I’ve been doing a 3d tutorial where three images are rendered. 2 are of an object with different materials and the 3rd is the same object with only greyscale values.

    I noticed in the tutorial the person was able to set this greyscale bitmap as a layer mask on one of the bitmaps.

    I’ve never seen this before and can’t seem to figure out how he did it (it wasn’t mentioned in the tutorial.
