  • Creating a lo-res render look?

    Hi.

I’m working on a projected video project and when I preview the project with 1/3 resolution I love the look. It’s too smooth at full resolution.

So my question is whats the best way to get the 1/3 resolution preview look.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks, Jim

Dave’s suggestion is a way to go, however if you will loose resolution overall. If it’s just the crisp look that bothers you but you still want smooth edges and not jaggy pixels, you can soften the image by adding noise or grain and/or applying a small channel blur (blue works best in most situations).
