Creating a hexagonal or “rupee” shape.
I’m currently starting to learn Cinema 4D. However, one of my first self-set goals eludes me. I’m trying to make a hexagon-based shape, much like the rupee shape of the Zelda games. I have tried importing a hexagon path from Illustrator and using ExtrudeNURBS, but I end up with both the front and back sides being mere caps which aren’t editable when turned into objects. I’ve also tried using a basic disk shape, which I can turn into a 2D hexagon, but can’t get in 3D.
Does anyone have a short turorial or some pointers on how to create such an object?
Thank you in advance,
Sam
