  • Creating a Gutter in Word Processor for Scrolling Credits

Posted by Sam Wheatley on September 11, 2010 at 3:33 pm

    Hi,

I’ve been tearing my hair out trying to understand what (seemingly) the entire internet understands as right justify tab and left justify tab. I feel I get close to understanding it, put it in to practice, then resume hair tearing.

I dropped a post in a thread before realising it hasn’t been posted in since February. So I figured I new post might be a good idea.

So I’m trying to create a gutter for scrolling credits using a word processor (as I then want to take it in to Motion) but I’m having no luck as to figuring out how to do it.

Can anyone recommend somewhere that explains how to do this in a step by step guide? And I’m thinking really basic as in “here are the words, and here are some pictures” or really detailed in terms of what it’s talking about and what it wants you to do.

    Thanks

    Sam

    Hi Marc

I have been reading all of your posts on Creative cow. So glad there are teachers like in this world. I am having difficulty with the rolling credits in Motion 4. Do you have text edit template that I can examine to get the middle gutter working?

I also subscribed to your website @ https://www.applemotion.net/ but never received the RTF scrolling credits template. Are you still providing this to new subscribers?

Any help on this would be much appreciated! Who knew rolling credits was going to be the wrench in my machine.
