creating a galaxy
hi
i need some ideas in creating a galaxyPreferably a swirly one like seen here that I can also animate:
https://www.news.wisc.edu/newsphotos/images/Milky_Way_galaxy_sun05.jpgThe idea would be to have it zoom in to one of those clusters of stars where I cut away to a “star zoom” created using Trapcode Particular and then a short flythrough of our universe until finally going in for a satellite zoom.

I’ve seen an AEP using Particular to create something similar. Checkout the Trapcode People website. Also, Serge has done some nice space imagery at the COW – check out his COW tutorials.

This is one of those projects where I’d be buying star field and deep space images or, if I knew what to do with them (and I don’t) 3d star field models.

BTW, the Parituclar AEP I was alluding to is pretty good. It looks very similar to the image that the initial poster provided and the great thing is that you can zoom into the little thingies.
