  creating a dynamic scrolling list?

  Hi

  Im trying to make a video representation of a scrolling list… essential the kind of dials you see when you change a time or date on an iphon. Im sure ive seen a way of creating one dynamically through expressions but i cant find it anywhere.

  I could do this with a huge comp with all the values laid out — but Id really like like to populate it dynamically,

  ideally i need to make each of the values individual items so the ones not in the middle (or selected) would fade & scale away.

  Im fairly good at expressions but dont know where to start

  can someone tell me how to duplicate comps and effect their text value im sure i’ll be able to work it out after that.

  (if it was flash id use duplicateClip inside a for loop & offset the x each time)
