    Hello,

I am sure this is a very simple question for most of you out there. I wanted to create an animation similar to a planes path over a map where the path is a dotted/broken line. But instead of the path being small dots I wanted the dots to be made up of an image I have.

How would I go about doing this?

    Thank You in advance!

Read up on how to use the Replicator, it’s the tool you want to use. Basically:

    1) Draw a path with the bezier shape tool
    2) Replicate your image
    3) Set the Replicator Shape to Geometry
    4) Drag your path to the well
    5) Use a Sequence Replicator behavior to animate the replicated images along the path.

    Here’s a tutorial:

So, will this create the same effect of marching ants? I am trying in Motion to have a dashed line continuously move. I have gotten a dashed line to move with a rate behavior and adjust the offset. I really can’t control the speed of the movement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
