creating a “directors commentary”
I am trying to find some info on how to create “commentary” setup as a bonus feature. Not sure what the best way to approach it is. Can someone please give some advice. Thanks

Record the commentary, put it on one of the secondary audio tracks.

And mix it with the program audio if you wish to hear both the program and commentary together. You can’t mix multiple audio streams in DVD.

I like to mix the program very low in the BG of the commentary so people can still just hear it.
