  • Creating A Custom Setting in Compressor 2

I have my Batch window open in Compressor 2. I went to the Presets Icon and selected it> then clicked on the Settings Tab> then over to the top far right of the Presets window I clicked the ‘ + ‘ to create/add a new setting. I selected AIFF from the dropdown window but nothing was added to the Custom Folder. In the Custom Folder of Compressor 2 there are already presets there, but I want to create a new one. It’s not allowing me to add anything from the dropdown menu.

Anybody know what’s happening with this?

One of the bugs in Compressor 2… What you need to do is start without a source file loaded, then choose to create a new setting. Then quit Compressor, and restart Compressor. Now you should be able to edit the setting’s parameters and save them.

Thanks. I tried the approach you suggest and nothing happens. I select to create a new AIFF and nothing happens. I can create a new sttings group folder but nothing with regard to creating a new setting. I’m stumped.
