Creating a change list from a HD timeline
Do you have to have a cinematools data base to create a change list? I’m working on a film that is being onlined on HD and never going back to the neg. The sound house will need a change list only at some point so I don’t need opticles and pulls etc. How can I create a change list with a old edl and a new edl. Or a old sequence and a new? So far it doesn’t look like cinematools does this, am I missing something? Thanks.

you’ll need another app.
editrace is a good solution:
if you dont want to buy the app, they have an on-line service.
up-load your 2 edls, and get a change list sent back.
