    Hello,
I have an issue with InDesign, thought it is probably through my lack of intelligence about the program.

I am creating a magazine. I had been creating the entire magazine (cover, pages, etc.) in one InDesign file, but found this to be hard to keep organized and processing well. It is an 84+ page file.

So, I split my InDesign document into 5 different documents, each with a “piece” of the magazine: “FULL_MASTER_VS1_a.indd” is the cover, “FULL_MASTER_VS1_b.indd” is the table of contents + ads, and so on. Then I added these InDesign documents to a Book file. A shown in picture #1, the documents each have their own page numbers, starting at 1 and on. I would like the numbers to be “ordered”, so A document is page 1, B document is 2-6, C document is 7-23, and so forth. I have looked and have not found an answer. Thank you in advance.

    G’day
Look at the book numbering options in the book panel (rather than the individual documents)
