Creating a 5.1 mix in Adobe Premiere Pro.
I so I’m taken over as an additional editor on a short film which had its original editor leave early. It’s my first professional short film but certainly I am no expert. I original thought they were going with a stereo sound design so all I would have to do is import the r128 mix and then export the film but instead they have went with a 5.1 mix and sent these deliverables:
Short Film- 5.1 MIX.C.wav
Short Film- 5.1 MIX.L.wav
Short Film- 5.1 MIX.LFE.wav
Short Film .5.1 MIX .Ls.wav
Short Film. 5.1 MIX.R.wav
Short Film. 5.1 MIX.Rs.wavI honestly have no idea how to work with them and it is in no way my area of expertise but I am sticking with it to the end now. I’m looking it up but it all sounds like Giberish to me. Is there any tutorials around on how to make a 5.1 mix in Adobe Premiere Pro with these deliverables? It needs to be done by tomorrow morning so in slight panic mode now.
